Plant Life (July) 2020 is the first of a new series of intensively made prints exploring the seasonal, mysterious, subterranean life of growing plants and ‘things’. Begun in lock down, these very limited editions incorporate diverse, graphic languages including mono printing, zinc plate lithography, digital magic and direct, hand drawn elements.

The Plant Life Suite explores the mystery and wonder of nature referencing homeopathic remedies, illuminated manuscripts and medieval botanical illustration. These are a determinedly intimate and beguiling series of works that explore the transcendental qualities of nature and the passage of time as they chart each monthly progression throughout the coming year.
